International airport

What is it with the security screening staff people here, sorry people is too kind a term, neanderthals is a more apt description. Rude, arrogant, disgusting individuals who shouldn't be let loose on the unsuspecting public. Unfortunately this culture appears to be common all throughout Broome and Cable Beach. We won't be returning.

Small regional airport. There's air conditioning in the main entry area but not after passing through security. The Qantas Club is the only lounge. There's a cafe with a bar & not much else.

Maximum stars for the checking staff and security. They are the most friendly and helpful servers ever I med in my life

Facilities are improving, security control is ridiculous and stricter than any major international airport, causes lots of delays.Cafe is so overpriced

Over crowded and unorganised airport,I recommend waiting in the first area as long as possible before clearing customs as it is the coolest area with an aircon.Once you clear customs it is very humid the cafe/ eating area has no cooling whatsoever and feels like you are in a sauna.When we got to the gate lounge multiple flights were delayed and everyone put together in a tiny room with only fans which was better than nothing but when the staff kept leaving the door open once again it was extremely hot.The only good thing about this place is there is actually an airport here which makes it a convenient stopover for when you're traveling around the top end of Australia.I think the airport will need to be improved to accommodate a growing tourism industry in the future including better training for the staff.

Only has a Qantas lounge, none for Virgin.Located smack in the centre of Broome.Staff at check-in counters for both airlines are generally pretty efficient and have decent service.If your flights delayed there’s not much to do here even with the vouchers for the cafe. Just pop back into town.Security staff could learn to smile and be more pleasant. On hot days the gate and cafe areas aren’t really an escape from the heat.Main building could do with some renos considering it’s a major holiday destination but hey probably won’t happen till 2025..

I stopped here to refuel on the way to Newman after a few days in One Arm Point. I called ahead and made arrangements with the ARO for fuel. very helpful. the Air BP truck was awesome and there was practically no waiting.

Absolute circus. Appears only contracted staff who have no idea how anything runs. Luggage lost by friends. Luggage damaged for others. No one knows what to do. Give instructions which send you around in circles. No updates on flights while you sit for hours with flight delays. Flight notification board says flight departed when it hasn’t even arrived. Ask staff and everyone e says ‘sorry I’m only a contractor’. Access to Qantas club is illegal, so despite having a QF flight AND Qantas club access and only code share available (still QF booking) available told that only people on Qantas planes can enter. PA system nearly makes your eardrums bleed. A complete circus of a place. Makes other regional airports look top class when comparing to this place.

Tiny little airport, does feel you landed somewhere remote..... The open air area at the departures just under the Qantas lounge is pretty cool...
